FARGO — Cass County Finance Director Michael Montplaisir and Cass County Election Coordinator DeAnn Buckhouse are letting the public know that county employees will be voting Friday, Jan. 10, and Monday, Jan. 13, on the submissions received in the ND County Auditors Association Sticker Contest.
Anyone from the public may cast their vote. Fourth grade students in the county were invited to design a new “I Voted” sticker for use in the 2020 elections and into the future. Cass County received 168 submissions. Employees and the public are asked to vote for their top 10 designs
Designs will be posted in the hallway of the Cass County Courthouse, 211 9th St. S., in Fargo across from the Commission Room. From there, a Cass County winner will be selected and will be forwarded on to compete with other winners from each county in North Dakota.
The winning design for the state will be announced in April during County Government month and will be used starting in the June election.
