FARGO — The Supreme Court 5-4 decision, struck down a Louisiana abortion law does not affect a similar law in North Dakota.
Justices ruled a law that required doctors to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals, violated abortion rights.
Fargo's Red River Women's Clinic Director, Tammi Kromenaker said that the decision has no impact on the Red River Women's Clinic, or North Dakota law since the state already has the admission privilege requirement.
North Dakota Lawmakers passed the law in 2013.
After the Supreme Court Decision Monday, North Dakota and Missouri, are the two states where the requirement is active.
