WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., announced he will serve as the Ranking Member on the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure during the 117th Congress.

The Transportation and Infrastructure subcommittee has jurisdiction over issues involving U.S. Army Corps of Engineers water projects and management, regional economic development, as well as highway programs.

Cramer will also serve on the Fisheries, Water, and Wildlife Subcommittee and the Air Subcommittee, giving him congressional oversight over several federal agencies North Dakotans routinely deal with, including the Fish and Wildlife Service and the Environmental Protection Agency.
