CLAY COUNTY, Minn. — Spring Clay County residential special waste collections will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 1.
These collections are for residential waste only. No business waste will be accepted. Place items in rear of vehicle to allow for social distance while unloading. Masks are required.
Electronics collection will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Clay County Recycling Shed, 1300 15th Ave. N. TVs, computers, computer monitors, peripherals that plug into computers, rechargeable batteries, cellphones, fluorescent bulbs, LED bulbs, and holiday light strings will be accepted.
The Clay County Household Hazardous Waste Facility, at 2729 Hwy 10 E., will also be open from 8 a.m. to noon. Aerosol products (no food aerosols), drain/oven cleaners, polish with solvents, mercury thermometers, automotive chemicals, garden pesticides, charcoal lighter fluid, pool chemicals, latex paint, stain/varnish, oil-based paint, paint remover and paint thinner will be accepted.
