HENDRUM, Minn. — A Hendrum man is in police custody after being accused of sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 13.
Mark Hutchinson, 44, of Hendrum faces first and second degree charges of criminal sexual conduct, according to documents filed in Norman County District Court. Hutchinson is accused of touching the crotch of a minor after getting into the victim's bed after a night of drinking and working at the victim's parents' home on April 27.
After the incident, Hutchinson went missing for about 24 hours, from April 30 to May 1, until police were able to contact him by cell phone. Hutchinson agreed with police to return to Norman County, according to charging documents.
He will make his initial court appearance on May 15.
