Homeless people are eligible for stimulus checks

FARGO — The third stimulus check is going out right now, and people without a bank account or fixed address are eligible, although they may have a harder time getting their hands on the cash.

WDAY News spoke with a Cindy Slaughter, an accountant for TaxLady LLC, who says people who meet the criteria, including homeless people, can get a stimulus check. They can get all three with the recovery rebate credit.

The IRS needs a tax return to get disburse a person's stimulus. Free filing software, even for those with zero income, is available on the IRS website at www.irs.gov .
