FARGO — The Cass County Planning Commission has one opening, for which Fargo residents are encouraged to apply.
Applications will begin to be reviewed on Nov. 21, and those applying are encouraged to do so before that deadline. The average time commitment for the position is four to eight hours each month.
Responsibilities include:
Serving on an advisory board to the Cass County Commission on subdivision platting issues in the county.
Participating in public hearings on matters relating to subdivision ordinance plat applications, variance request applications and public input meeting opportunities for a new zoning ordinance.
Review and evaluate staff report documents and other project-related materials.
Participate in committee assignments representing the planning commission and other city or metro-wide boards and commissions.
Communicate with applicants and the public as needed.
