FARGO — A motorcyclist was left in serious condition after being involved in a three-vehicle collision that included two motorcycles Saturday, April 17.
The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 10th Street North in Fargo, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Yamaha motorcycles involved in the crash were northbound on 10th Street North and approaching the intersection of 15th Avenue as a Mazda CX-5 SUV began to cross the intersection. According to the report, the Yamaha R6, driven by 22-year-old Alexander Basham, swerved right, striking the front of the Mazda. The Yamaha R1, driven by 26-year-old Ryan Rosdahl, swerved left, striking the rear of the Mazda.
Both motorcycle operators were transported to a local hospital, with Rosdahl suffering serious injuries, the report says.
The crash is still under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
