FARGO — City officials are warning motorists that several traffic lights across Fargo have gone dark as a result of Sunday night's storm.
North Dakota law states that when traffic lights are dark, meaning the red, yellow and green lights are not illuminated, the intersection is to be treated as a four-way stop.
While the city did not provide a list of intersections at which traffic lights have gone dark, three intersections in the vicinity of the westbound Main Avenue roadwork site are among those with lights not working.
It was not clear when power will be restored to the traffic lights.
