DICKINSON, N.D. — One person was killed, and another seriously injured, when they were struck by an SUV Sunday evening, May 16, in Dickinson, N.D.
The incident began at around 6 p.m. in the 600 block of South Main Avenue.
Dillon Olheiser, 26, of Dickinson, was riding his bicycle across Main Avenue when he fell off his bike in the southbound lane of traffic, according to North Dakota Highway Patrol.
A southbound driver, Dawn Belohlavek, 55, of Mandan, N.D., saw Olheiser fall, according to the release. She stopped and got out of her vehicle and began to render first aid.
A 2015 Chevy Tahoe, driven by Dennis Wolf, 85, of Dickinson, was also heading southbound when he ran over both the Olheiser and Belohlavek in the southbound lane, according to Highway Patrol.

Olheiser died at the scene from his injuries. Belohlavek was seriously injured and life-flighted to Bismarck via helicopter.
The incident remains under investigation.
