Man injured in N. Fargo crash on University Drive

A man had to be rescued from his car after a crash at a north Fargo intersection.

FARGO — According to the Fargo Fire Department, at around noon Thursday, May 20, two vehicles crashed at the intersection of University Drive and 8th Ave. North, next to a Family Fare.

Officials say they were unsure what direction the cars were traveling, but it appeared as if the sedan hit the SUV. The SUV then ran into a stoplight pole, which now needs to be replaced.

Officials also said they had to extricate the man from the car after his leg became stuck. He was brought to the hospital by ambulance. The woman driving the SUV said she did not need any medical care.
