FARGO — A man accused of vandalizing two buildings in downtown Fargo, and doing thousands of dollars in damage in the process, was sentenced Monday, Jan. 28, to three years of supervised probation.

Juan Antonio Arce, who's either 24 or 25, was sentenced by Cass County District Judge Tom Olson on three felony counts of criminal mischief to one year behind bars, which was deferred for three years of supervised probation.

Arce was charged in August in connection with vandalizing the fire station at 637 NP Ave. and the Cityscapes building in the 600 block of First Avenue North.

Damage at Cityscapes included scratches on windows and a doorframe, with similar scratches found on the exterior of the fire station.

Arce must pay about $11,000 in restitution, including about $6,900 to the Fargo Fire Department.
