Engaged couple lose new home, 3 dogs in northern Minnesota fire

CLEARBROOK, Minn. — The community is rallying around a young Clearbrook, Minnesota couple who lost their home and three dogs in a tragic fire Friday, Oct. 21, just days after moving in.

Seth Djernes and Emma Drelleck are newly engaged and had just moved to the home.

Their three black labs; Hank, Tank and Banks died in the fire.

WDAY News reached out to Clearkbrook, Minnesota Volunteer Fire Department, whose crew is investigating. They haven't yet recorded the cause.
