Moorhead motorcyclist injured in Becker County crash

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet when he crashed between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids.

OSAGE, Minn. — A Moorhead man was injured Friday, July 1, when his motorcycle crashed on Highway 34 between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids in Becker County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol:

Scott Terry Amundson, 53, was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson Motorcycle westbound on Highway 34 when he crashed near mile post 61 at about 11 p.m.

Amundson, who was wearing a helmet, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and was taken to a Detroit Lakes hospital.

Roads were dry at the time of the crash, the cause of which was not determined Saturday morning.
