Virtual brown bag event to clarify Violence Against Women Act

FARGO — The Successful Outcomes for Tenants and Landlords committee is hosting a virtual brown bag Zoom event on the Violence Against Women Act.

Planned to begin at noon on Wednesday, May 18, the event will feature Rebecca Brown from Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota. Brown will help clarify what the Violence Against Women Act is, how to claim assistance, and what the act means for tenants and landlords.

The presentation is free, but attendees must register register before the event.
