MOORHEAD — Prosecutors here allege that a 35-year-old man sexually assaulted a girl under age 10, according to documents filed Tuesday, May 28, in Clay County District Court.
Christopher Allen Ochoa, of Moorhead, faces two felony charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
On May 23, Moorhead police received a report of a possible sexual assault against a child. Investigators learned the suspect, later identified as Ochoa, had multiple warrants for his arrest and an order to have no contact with the child victim and her mother, court papers stated.
The victim told authorities Ochoa sexually assaulted and sexually molested her on numerous occasions, court papers said.
When told about the allegations, Ochoa denied them and claimed the victim was lying, court papers said.

Ochoa's bail was set at $200,000 with no conditions or $100,000 with conditions, such as having no contact with the victim. He remained in custody at Clay County Jail on Tuesday. A phone message left for his attorney, Kenneth Kludt, was not immediately returned.
