MOORHEAD— Police officers arrested a suspect with outstanding warrants in two other Midwest states, including one for murder.

Lloyd Hayes, 36, from Madison, Wisconsin, is facing charges of 1st Degree Premeditated Murder in Illinois and 2nd Degree Aggravated Robbery in Wisconsin.

Moorhead police officers arrested him on Wednesday evening, March 29. The circumstances surrounding his arrest were not immediately available.

However, Hayes is currently on the inmate roster in the Clay County Jail and is awaiting an extradition hearing.

In addition to the outstanding arrest warrants, Hayes also has had previous criminal convictions. Those include armed robbery, felony assault, domestic abuse and drug crime convictions.
