Clay County Sheriff's Office hosting meet-and-greet for people with intellectual, developmental disabilities

The free indoor event will take at the Law Enforcement Center, 911 11th St. N., in Moorhead where tables will be set up with games, dim lighting and open space.

CLAY COUNTY, Minn. — The Clay County Sheriff's Office is hosting a "Come Meet our Deputies" event next week for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The event, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, is designed to be a lower stimulus event reaching out to those with autism and other disabilities who may benefit from a meeting in a controlled, low stimulus environment.

The free indoor event will take at the Law Enforcement Center, 911 11th St. N., in Moorhead where tables will be set up with games, dim lighting and open space.
