Got ideas for downtown activities? Moorhead wants to hear them

MOORHEAD — The city of Moorhead is looking for ideas for activities to energize its riverfront and downtown.

Ideas will be accepted through Friday, May 20. They should align with the city's Downtown Plan and the Moorhead Arts and Cultural Framework Plan.

Funding requests may go up to $15,000 but are preferred to be under $10,000.

Each idea for an activity will be judged on the following criteria: its ability to attract people to downtown, its ability to be implemented this year, its physical connection to the Red River and/or downtown, and how the project or event highlights a place or space in a new way.
