Knights of Columbus in Moorhead giving away free coats for kids

MOORHEAD – Free coats for children will be available from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Micah’s Mission, located at 1901 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead.

Coats will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will be available for boys and girls in size 4 through XL.

The event is being held by the Moorhead chapter of the Knights of Columbus.

The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service organization that contributes to charitable causes through financial contributions and hands-on-service, according to their press release.

Through their Coats for Kids program, the Knights have distributed more than half a million coats to children in the United States and Canada.
