Moorhead firefighters respond to garage fire

No injuries from the fire were reported. The fire occurred a few blocks west of Concordia College.

MOORHEAD — Firefighters remain on scene of a massive garage fire that could be seen for miles across the metro Friday, May 19.

It broke out just before 8:30 p.m. in a garage behind a home on Second Street South, a few blocks west of Concordia College.

The flames quickly swallowed the garage, which include a car and lawn equipment.

The flames did not spread to the house.

No injuries have been reported.

Firefighters are still on scene putting out hot spots so investigators can get inside to try and figure out how the fire started.
