MOORHEAD — Police are investigating a potential shots fired call that came in late Tuesday night, Aug. 2.

The call came in at about 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday gas station at 1501 11th St. N.

According to Joe Brannan, a Moorhead police sergeant, investigating officers found a shell casing in the parking lot of the gas station.

However, they weren't able to find a weapon, and there were no potential suspects at the scene of where they found the casing, Brannan said.

No injuries were reported as of Wednesday morning, he said.

Brannan said officers are expected were continuing the investigation Wednesday, including looking at the surveillance video from the gas station cameras.

This is a developing story.
