Moorhead police notify public of sex offender's new address

Authorities have designated Randall Dean Adams as a Level 3 predatory offender. Level 3 is considered the highest risk to re-offend.

MOORHEAD — The Moorhead Police Department is notifying the public that sex offender Randall Dean Adams will be living in the 1600 block of Fourth Avenue North.

Adams, 52, is 5-foot-7, 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, police said.

Authorities have designated Adams as a Level 3 predatory offender. Level 3 is considered the highest risk to re-offend.

The Minnesota Department of Corrections described his offense as follows : "Adams engaged in sexual conduct and contact with an unknown adult female victim. Conduct included verbally threatening to sexually assault victim. Contact included sexual touching. Adams took advantage of victim's vulnerable state to gain compliance."
