MOORHEAD — Moorhead Area Public Schools has announced the hiring of Tiffany Nagel as principal at Ellen Hopkins Elementary School.
Nagel has worked in the Moorhead school district for the past six years as assistant principal at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary, according to a news release.
She has also served in roles as classroom teacher, Multi-Tiered System of Support MTSS coordinator and instructional coach in multiple districts over her 22 years in education.
Nagel has a master's degree in educational leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University and a principal licensure from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Nagel begins the job at Ellen Hopkins on April 3. She replaces Lynnelle Giddings, principal there since 2017, who is leaving due to a family opportunity in another state, the release said.
