Sex offender registers as homeless in Moorhead

MOORHEAD — The Moorhead Police Department is alerting the public of a level three sex offender registering as homeless in Moorhead.

Leo Leonard Morin, 58, is 5-foot-9, 250 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair that is graying, according to a release from the Moorhead Police Department. He is homeless and will reside in the area of Chambers Avenue, the release said.

Morin has a history of engaging in sexual contact with known female children, the release said, noting he used his position of authority to gain compliance.
