MOORHEAD — A Moorhead man is charged with murder after police alleged he killed his half-brother Thursday night, March 9, at an apartment.

Douglas James Swenson II, 25, appeared Monday in Clay County District Court on a second-degree felony count of murder. He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted of the charge that alleges the killing was not premeditated. Full story here.

Swat team part of high-risk search warrant at Fargo apartment; 5 people arrested

FARGO — Five people were detained after the Red River Swat Team, the Fargo Police Department and the Cass County Drug Task Force conducted what they call a high-risk search warrant.

MOORHEAD — A key decision regarding the future of a newly opened Moorhead nightclub battling early hiccups will have to wait a couple more weeks.

The Moorhead City Council on Monday, March 13, elected to table making a decision on whether or not to grant a conditional use permit to the Classic Touch Lounge nightclub, a new business that opened in mid-February. Full story here.
