WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Police Department announced Thursday, Oct. 27, that its K-9 ToSti passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 22, due to an unforeseen medical emergency while off duty.
K-9 ToSti was a 7-year-old Dutch Shepherd from Holland who joined the department in November 2015 and was paired with handler Officer Ben Orr. K-9 ToSti was deployed over 800 times for tasks including narcotic detection, suspect tracking, building searches and article recovery. Full story here.
Fargo police board considers external investigation in officer shootings

FARGO — The Fargo Police Advisory and Oversight Board met on Thursday, Oct. 27, to once again discuss the officer involved fatal shooting of Shane Netterville that occurred on July 8 in Fargo.

2 girls rescued from Red River in Fargo

FARGO — Two young girls are safe after being rescued from the Red River.
The girls called 911 around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, saying they were trapped on an island at the bottom of a support beam holding up a rail bridge by the Hjemkomst Center. Full story here.
