MOORHEAD — Police are investigating what they say is a homicide at a home on the city's south side.

Officers were called to the 3800 block of 32nd Street south just before 11 p.m. Thursday evening, Dec. 1 after family members, doing a welfare check, discovered the woman. Full story here.

Idaho police believe man connected to disappearing child is in North Dakota

FRUITLAND, Idaho — Idaho police believe Brandon Shurtliff, a 30-year-old man from Idaho with suspected connections to the disappearance of a 5-year-old boy, is in North Dakota.


Shurtliff is wanted for questioning by the City of Fruitland Police Department in Idaho over the abduction of Michael Joseph “Monkey” Vaughan. Full story here.

Moorhead residents invited to take part in housing survey

MOORHEAD — The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments is gathering information via a survey to help area policy makers work on housing needs in the area and Moorhead residents, in particular, are being invited to take the survey. Full story here.
