WASHINGTON — On Friday, July 30, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris met with seven governors to discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen wildfire prevention, preparedness and response efforts, and hear firsthand about the ongoing impacts of the 2021 wildfire season.
Governors included Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Idaho Gov. Brad Little, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon.
