Halloween is many people's favorite holiday of the year, and it's easy to see why.
It's a time to binge on your favorite treats, and to express yourselves through creative costumes.
Halloween's a popular holiday, but it only lasts a day. "Halloween treat street" is the perfect event for people who need more than one day to get their spooky energy out of their systems.
"What child doesn't want tons of candy," asks Brooke Zarling with the West Fargo Park District. "And it's also fun, you've got the parents out trick or treating with the kids."
Not content with wearing a park district t-shirt, Zarling and many of the other staff got in on the costumed creativity today. Her choice of attire was inspired.

"I'm you know, the good old fashioned whoopee cushion so, had to have something flexible and warm at the beginning of the day," she said.
Many of the costumes were positively frightening, while others were just plain fun.
"We've got everything from you know, Michael Myers and Jason, to scarecrows and astronauts," Zarling said.
I also got a chance to catch up with a dad, dressed up in an outfit that generates waves of nostalgia for 90s kids like me.
"I'm the Megazord from Power Rangers," said Antonie Colley. "Little 90's reference, thought I'll go with that."
As an avid power rangers fan myself, I wholeheartedly approve.
He says he might wear this costume on Halloween, or he might go with something else.
"This one right here takes the cake," he said.
