FARGO — The season for individual income tax filing opens Monday, Jan. 24, in Minnesota and North Dakota.
The date matches the opening day for filing with the Internal Revenue Service.
The deadline for individuals to file 2021 Minnesota, North Dakota and federal income tax returns is Monday, April 18.
Officials in both states urged residents to file electronically.

In 2021, state lawmakers approved an income tax credit for North Dakotans.
