Law enforcement officials investigating North Border School threat
The Pembina County Sheriff's Office said there was no immediate danger, but the investigation is ongoing.
PEMBINA, N.D. — Officials in Pembina County are investigating a potential threat levied against North Border School.
According to the Pembina County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the school on Tuesday, Dec. 7, to investigate a potential threat. Faculty and multiple students were interviewed and investigators determined there was no immediate danger.
The department said in a statement on its Facebook page it would not be releasing further information as the investigation is still ongoing.
News of the threat comes after two juvenile suspects were arrested in connection with a threat made against Cheney Middle School in West Fargo on Tuesday, and less than a week after a student at Oxford (Michigan) High School allegedly shot and killed four students.
