North Dakota hoping for more Covid-19 vaccine doses soon
Sanford Health has vaccinated more than 1,000 people in phase 1b of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution plan.
FARGO— Sanford Health has vaccinated more than 1,000 people in phase 1b of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution plan.
Dr. Doug Griffin is the Vice President of Sanford. He says things are going extremely well at the new vaccine distribution center in Fargo at the old Gordmans building, but they're just getting started.
Dr. Griffin says those included in phase 1b is a long list.
It will be a while before they can move on to phase 1c. Dr. Griffin says he cannot provide an estimate of exactly when.
"We are waiting based on an announcement from the White House for an increase in allocation in the state and hopefully that means more for us."
Sanford has 400 doses scheduled to be delivered next week and 1,400 the week following.
