North Dakota teen identified as victim of fatal crash

BOTTINEAU, N.D. — Authorities have identified an 18-year-old who died in a rollover crash Sunday, Sept. 25, about a mile north of Bottineau.

Triniti Soland, of Bottineau, died at the scene of the crash, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at about 8:43 a.m. Sunday on a gravel road.

Soland was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck south on 11th Avenue Northeast. The Chevrolet left the road, overcorrected and then rolled over, according to the patrol.

Soland, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the truck, the patrol said.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
