MANDAN, N.D. — Police in Mandan are investigating a homicide after discovering a dead body near a river on the city’s east end.
At approximately 7 p.m. Friday evening, officers with the Mandan Police Department were dispatched to the 1900 block of Third Street Southeast after a caller reported they discovered an unresponsive male.
Upon arrival, authorities say they discovered the dead body of 65-year-old Kevin Greybull near the area of the trolley bridge, which crosses over the Heart River to the roadway’s south.
The Mandan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in tracing Greybull’s movements during the past several days. He was last seen around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, near the 700 block of 3rd Street Southeast in Mandan.
If anyone saw Greybull from Thursday morning until Friday evening, or has any information regarding Greybull, they should contact the Mandan Police Department at 701-667-3250.

Greybull was wearing an orange Flyers shirt, khaki pants and grey shoes.

Greybull had no permanent address, according to police. He spent time in both Mandan and Bismarck. He was frequently seen in the area of the Sitting Bull Bridge (Heart River bridge on 6th Avenue Southeast in Mandan. Greybull was also known to spend time in the area of the trolley bridge.
In a press release, authorities said information from the investigation indicates there is currently no danger to the public, but more details should be released on Monday.
