Update: Silver Alert issued for Belcourt man canceled after law enforcement locate missing man

Law enforcement located Cecil Jeanotte, 77, in Rock Lake, North Dakota. He is safe, and the Silver Alert has been canceled.

Update: North Dakota law enforcement officals have located Jeanotte in Rock Lake, North Dakota. He is safe, and the Silver Alert issued for him has been canceled.
—————————————————————————BELCOURT, N.D. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a 77-year-old man who was last seen early Monday morning, Aug. 15, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Cecil Jeanotte is described as an American Indian man, who's 5 feet 7 inches tall, with white hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey pullover sweatshirt and blue jeans, according to troopers.

Troopers said Jeanotte is believed to be driving a maroon 2017 Chevy Silverado Duramax crew cab truck down BIA Road 12 in Belcourt.

The truck has Turtle Mountain tribal license plates, with the number 31946.
