North Dakota's first medical marijuana dispensary expected to open in Fargo Feb. 28

A former jewelry store location in the Western Center shopping mall in Fargo near West Acres will be site of the Acreage North Dakota medical marijuana dispensary. The dispensary at 4302 13th Ave. S. is expected to be open Feb. 28.

FARGO - North Dakota's first medical marijuana dispensary is expected to open Thursday, Feb. 28, in Fargo, according to a statement released by Acreage Holdings, a multi-state cannabis selling company.

The statement says The Botanist, Acreage's brand for its cannabis medical dispensaries, will feature a botanical wall, an educational station and cannabis products that North Dakota state regulations will allow.

Acreage Holdings also operates dispensaries in Maryland, New York, Massachusetts and Ohio.

Hours at the at 4302 13th Ave. S location will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday - Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

To purchase any cannabis products from The Botanist, you must be a North Dakota citizen and a registered medical cannabis patient or caregiver.
