North Fargo crash that killed 2 believed intentional

Fatal north Fargo crash

FARGO — A north Fargo crash that killed two men Friday, July 31 appears to have been intentionally caused by one of the drivers, according to a statement from city police.

Nathaniel Wilson, 30, of West Fargo was driving west on Seventh Avenue North at high speed when he crossed into the eastbound lane, colliding with an SUV driven by 49-year-old Thomas Edmunds of Fargo.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene and Edmunds was taken to Sanford Medical Center where he later died from his injuries, according to police.

Witness statements and other evidence suggest that Wilson intentionally crashed into Edmunds' vehicle, police said. However, investigators found no evidence the men knew each other and said the crash was not the result of road rage.

Police said they will continue to investigate the crash.
