GWINNER, N.D.-- A pickup driver died in a crash with a semi that was hauling cattle on Highway 13 Thursday evening, Nov. 5.
According to North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver was a mile east of town when he came to a stop sign. He then turned into an oncoming semi.
The driver of the semi tried to swerve but ended up hitting the pickup.
Both the semi and pickup ended up in a nearby ditch.
The pickup driver, a 90 year old man from Gwinnner, died at the scene.

The semi driver was not hurt.
Neither of the drivers are being identified until their families are notified.
