West Fargo police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol caught a wanted Bismarck man early Friday after a chase along Interstate 29.

Douglas Wayne Moos, 46, who failed to appear on 10 felony charges in Stutsman County, was clocked going 70 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to a news release.

Authorities unsuccessfully tried to pull him over, but caught him after West Fargo police deployed spike strips, which blew his tires and stopped the vehicle, the release said.

Moos was apprehended after fleeing on foot.

The felony charges include theft by deception, deceptive writings, forgery or counterfeiting and bail jumping and stem from 2001, according to Stutsman County District Court records.
