CASSELTON, N.D. — Three people suspected of breaking into storage units were taken into custody following an early morning search in Casselton on Tuesday, Aug. 18.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office said a deputy on patrol saw two men and a woman who appeared to be breaking into units in the 700 block of Heartland Avenue South.
The three suspects fled from law enforcement but were later caught and taken into custody, the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office identified the three people arrested as Ryan S. Wentz, 35, and Matthew L. Logan, 30, both of Fargo, and Allison L. Nelson, 20, of Valley City.

According to the sheriff's office, Wentz faces possible charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, while Logan faces the same possible charges as well as criminal mischief, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nelson faces possible charges of conspiracy to commit burglary, ingesting a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, the sheriff's office said.
