Police identify Moorhead man accused of stabbing

The victim had life-threatening injuries and remained in the hospital Tuesday, police said.

MOORHEAD — A 27-year-old Moorhead man accused of stabbing a woman he was in a relationship with was being held at the Clay County Jail Tuesday, Jan. 12, on multiple charges, including attempted murder.

Police took Juan Pablo Brown into custody Sunday afternoon after responding to a report of a stabbing at an apartment building at 1202 34th Ave. S., about a half-mile northeast of south Moorhead's Azool Hornbacher's.

The woman had life-threatening injuries and remained in the hospital Tuesday, police said. Brown was taken to the hospital for what police called "self-inflicted actions."

Brown was being held in jail Tuesday on charges including first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and felony domestic assault.
