Police perimeter set up outside Hornbacher's Azool in Moorhead

A witness heard someone shout "call police ... we were shot at."

MOORHEAD, Minn. — Crime tape can be seen in a parking lot outside Hornbacher's Foods - Azool in Moorhead along 40th Avenue South where police say someone discharged one round of a firearm.

A WDAY reporter saw authorities towing away a vehicle with a shattered window Sunday night.

One witness told WDAY News they heard a scream coming from that same car at about 5:15 p.m., before police showed up.

They walked up to see what was going on and heard someone inside shout, "call police ... we were shot at."

Investigators were seen measuring out the pieces of glass from the car window.

According to police, there is one involved person who has not been located. They said the involved parties knew each other and that there is no concern to the general public at this time.
