The cars were being transported to dealerships across Grand Forks.

GRAND FORKS — The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on I-29 a few miles south of Grand Forks Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Troopers say 42-year-old Kenneth Finley, from Newport, Michigan, was bringing new trucks and SUVs to dealerships in Grand Forks, when the semi went into the median and rolled.

Several of those new cars were thrown off the trailer by the impact of the crash.

The driver was taken to Altru with minor injuries. It's unclear if he will be given any tickets.

Troopers noted the highway was slick at the time.

The crash will take several hours to cleanup, as each vehicle will have to be removed individually.
