Shed lost and home damaged overnight in Fargo

FARGO— Firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a fire that destroyed a shed and spread to a nearby home on April 6, 2023.

Those crews were called out to respond to a shed fire in the 700 block of Country Side Trailer Court.

When they arrived, they found the shed fully engulfed, according to Fargo Battalion Chief Lee Soeth. The fire had also spread to a nearby home.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire before it caused the home to be an additional loss.

"We do have just a little extension on the outside of the trailer, but not a whole lot," said Soeth. "It shouldn't affect any resident staying there."

The financial extent of the damage has not yet been fully determined, said Soeth.

No injuries were reported.
