Shop building burns down in Dilworth

A shop building burned down early Thursday morning in the 4800 block of 50th Street North.

DILWORTH, Minn. — A shop building burned down and destroyed a vehicle and lawn mowing equipment early Thursday, November 18.

There have been no injuries reported.

The building was already destroyed by the time firefighters responded to 4843 50th Street North.

According to Dilworth Fire Chief and Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting, fire crews will stay in the area overnight to monitor the area to make sure flames do not spread.

The state fire marshal's office will be out to investigate the fire later in the morning, according to Empting.
