SISSETON, S.D. — The Sisseton man who died in a one-car rollover last week about 14 miles southeast of the South Dakota town has been identified.
He is Shayne Crook, 42, who was driving a 2008 Buick Lucerne that rolled in the ditch after he failed to negotiate a curve on 127th Street, which is also about 14 miles northeast of Summit in rural Roberts County, last Wednesday, Jan. 19, about 11:15 p.m.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, said the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
He died at the scene.
The patrol is investigating the crash.
