FARGO — Students at Fargo's Washington Elementary school received a special surprise ahead of Veteran's day Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Fourth-grade teacher, Mr. Seeba invited his nephew to speak to his classroom about what it's like being in the military.
Lieutenant Commander Ryan Seeba spoke to the class over zoom about what it's like being in the military. He talked to the students about the sacrifices military members make.
Afterward, the elementary students made cards and drawings to thank Seeba for his service.
"I think it's important just because it's something that their families might have experienced if they have a father or a bother or a sister that's had to go on deployment or do something in the military, " Seeba said.
