GRAND FORKS — More than 70 kids from a local school spent their last day before break giving back to the community.
72 kids from Minto volunteered at the library, The Salvation Army, and Northlands Rescue Mission. They cleaned and categorized children's books at the library and sort food donations at the mission.
A lesson in kindness the kids wouldn't learn in a classroom.
