Forensic psychologist, true crime author discusses investigations and new book

New book, "Burning Bridges," inspired by St. Cloud murder

Forensic psychologist and true crime author Frank Weber will discuss his work and sign his books from 3 to 7 p.m., July 30, at Three Lyons Pub in West Fargo.

Weber has profiled cold case homicides for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and narrated an investigative show on the Oxygen channel, “Murdered by Morning.”

His talk will include forensic techniques and explore what film and TV shows get wrong in investigations. He’ll also use a lie detector on a volunteer.
